Vegetables have 5 grams of carbohydrates; you can eat 2-4 servings of vegetables per day. You can add into your diet about 3-5 servings of a large egg, two three ounces cooked meat and fish, a half cup cottage cheese and an ounce of low fat cheese.

In pregnancy you also need fat in your diet but be careful while choosing fatty food. Maximum three servings of fatty food is sufficient quantity for a day. Fatty foods are almonds, peanuts, margarine, olives etc.
